Biographical Information

Adam B. Land joined Georgia Law in March 2012 as an assistant director of legal career services. In this role, he serves as the judicial clerkships adviser, helping students seeking judicial clerkships and managing the overall application process on behalf of the law school.

He also provides general career counseling to students, advising them in all areas of selecting a career and finding a job. In addition, he is responsible for handling web and technology issues for the office and quantitative analysis and reporting of placement-related data.

Prior to joining Georgia Law, Land worked as an associate at Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley in Athens, Ga., in the firm's product liability and medical malpractice groups. He has also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his law degree cum laude from UGA, where he was a notes editor for the Georgia Law Review.
 

Land is active in the Athens community.  He is both a mentor and a member of the Clarke County Mentor Program board of directors, and is a 2010 graduate of L.E.A.D. Athens. He and his wife, Jacqueline, have three children, Emmeline, Julia and Paul.
