Biographical Information

Cindy H. Rice joined Georgia Law in 2007 as the assistant director of communications and public relations and became the associate director three years later. In the communications office, Rice works to promote the law school and its faculty, students, alumni and events through a variety of outlets. She coordinates the creation and distribution of the quarterly e-newsletter News @ Georgia Law, oversees multiple print publications including the school's annual alumni magazine, the Advocate, and maintains portions of the school's Website. Rice also helps manage the school's relationship with the media.

Previously, she was the publication and advertising coordinator for the Quality Deer Management Association, where she served as the liaison for both printers and advertisers and was responsible for scheduling and bidding out all print projects. Additionally, she assisted in the editing and design of multiple publications including the book Quality Food Plots and QDMA's bi-monthly magazine Quality Whitetails. 

Rice earned her bachelor's degree in agricultural communication from the University of Florida with a minor in organizational leadership for nonprofits.
