Biographical Information: 

Greg Heller serves as the executive vice president and chief legal officer of the Atlanta Braves. In this post, he manages and oversees all legal affairs for the Major League Baseball team and its wholly owned minor league affiliates that includes the Gwinnett Braves, the Mississippi Braves, the Rome Braves and the Danville Braves. Heller’s responsibilities and duties include providing guidance and counsel on baseball operations matters, sales and marketing, broadcasting, stadium and business operations, intellectual property, corporate governance, legislative affairs, employment and litigation. He also has oversight for all legal issues related to SunTrust Park and the Braves’ mixed-use development – The Battery Atlanta – a vibrant mixed-use and entertainment district adjacent to SunTrust Park.

Previously, Heller spent nearly seven years with the Turner Broadcasting sports legal group that included the Braves, the Atlanta Hawks, the Atlanta Thrashers, Philips Arena, the Goodwill Games, TNT and TBS Sports, and Turner Sports Interactive. Heller also served as an associate attorney at the Atlanta law firm Powell Goldstein from 1996 to 1997 and the Chicago law firm Horwood Marcus & Berk from 1997 to 2000. Heller graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Marketing/Management from Indiana University in 1993 and earned his law degree from Marquette University in 1996.
