Biographical Information

J. Michael Levengood is a partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge where he has worked for nearly 30 years. Specializing in commercial and estate litigation, workouts and corporate reorganization, he chairs the firm’s Atlanta litigation department education committee and is a member of its national litigation training committee. Levengood is regularly invited to speak on bankruptcy and litigation issues and was the co-managing editor for the second edition of the book Norton Bankruptcy Law & Practice. Additionally, he has participated as an adjunct faculty member at Emory University School of Law. Levengood earned his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Georgia, where he served on the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law.
