Biographical Information

Georgia Law alumnus Steve Shi has operated his own law firm and has been a partner in the Environmental Law Practice Group in the Atlanta office of Kilpatrick Stockton. As a private practitioner, he has developed an extensive practice representing a wide range of industrial and commercial clients in virtually all types of environmental, health and safety, and land use matters. He entered the private practice of law after serving for 14 years on active duty as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. During this time he served as both an infantry and reconnaissance officer, including a combat tour in Vietnam and as a judge advocate. Shi has been recognized several times as one of "The Best Lawyers in America" in Environmental Law, a nationwide annual survey among lawyers whose practice is limited to environmental law.
