Biographical Information

Justin R. Howard is co-teaching a course on mergers and acquisitions with fellow Georgia Law alumnus Christopher M. Rosselli.

As an Alston & Bird partner, Howard co-leads the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions practice in Atlanta, where he represents public and private companies across a variety of industries in complex mergers and acquisitions, including leveraged acquisitions and dispositions of portfolio investments by private equity funds. He also represents issuers and underwriters in public and private offerings of debt, equity and convertible securities and advises public companies regarding a variety of corporate governance matters.

Howard earned both his bachelor's and law degrees cum laude from the University of Georgia. During his time at Georgia Law, he was an articles editor of the Georgia Law Review.
