Biographical Information

A partner at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, Lynn E. Fowler is the chair of the corporate tax team focusing on corporate and business tax law. He specializes in helping clients develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for varied business formation, financing, operations and disposition transactions. Additionally, Fowler has been the lead tax adviser on several taxable and tax-free merger and acquisition transactions and other strategic corporate transactions. His scholarship includes “Publicly Traded Partnerships” and “Selected Tax Issues of Private Investment Funds,” which were published in editions of Tax Planning for Domestic and Foreign Partnerships, LLCs, Joint Ventures & Other Strategic Alliances. Fowler earned his B.S. in accounting and his J.D. from the University of Alabama and also earned an LL.M. in taxation from New York University.
