Pennie Peck joined Georgia Law in the fall of 2002, where she teaches Legal Research and Writing, Advanced Writing and the Law and Ethics of Lawyering.
Before coming to Athens, she worked for seven years as a lawyer specializing in labor and employment law. Most recently from the firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in Atlanta, Peck has also practiced with Jackson Walker and Baker Botts, both located in Dallas.
Peck earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and her Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. She also earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from SMU, where she served as the leading articles editor of The International Lawyer, spent a summer studying at SMU Law in Oxford, England, and was selected as a member of Order of the Coif.
She is a member of both the Georgia and Texas bar associations.
