Biographical Information

Robert B. Teilhet is the executive director of Georgia Conservation Voters, a nonprofit organization dedicated to turning conservation values into state priorities. He is responsible for creating and managing the organization’s legislative agenda as well as its political and public education campaigns, among other duties. Previously, Teilhet served for eight years as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives. During that time, he was on the Judiciary, Education and Industrial Relations committees, where he developed substantial expertise in those and other areas. He also received several awards for his legislative accomplishments from, among others, the Georgia Family Council, the Georgia Psychological Association and the Georgia Water Coalition. Prior to entering the Georgia House, Teilhet was a partner at Rogers, Strimban & Teilhet. He also spent two years as in-house counsel for Southeastern U.S. Insurance.
