Recruiting at Georgia Law

Georgia Law's Career Development Office invites you to interview on campus or to post positions with us and collect resumes from students or recent graduates at your convenience.  We encourage you to reach out to us at any time so that we may help you successfully meet your hiring needs.
Students at Georgia Law are qualified for and interested in a wide variety of employment opportunities, including large, mid-sized, and small law firms; corporations; state and federal judges; public interest organizations; and state and federal governmental agencies.  Georgia Law students also participate in a number of off-campus hiring opportunities and job fairs.  For a list of those off-campus hiring opportunities, please visit here
Georgia Law uses Symplicity career services software to schedule on-campus interviews and handle resume collection for employers.  The system allows you to create your own login and set up interviews and postings. However, if you prefer not to create a Symplicity login, you may complete this online form instead, or call us at (706) 542-7541.
Please contact Robbie Eddins, Interview Coordinator, at (706) 542-7568 or if you have any questions about our recruiting programs.

On-Campus Interview Programs

We invite you to join us in Athens for on-campus interviews throughout the year.  Our 2016 fall on-campus interview season opens Tuesday, August 9, and we welcome you to reach out to us at any time so we may help you successfully meet your hiring needs.   If you are unable to travel to Athens, we will gladly coordinate interviews via video conferencing. For information on how to request and manage on-campus interviews via Symplicity, please see EMPLOYER OCI SYMPLICITY USER GUIDE. Alternatively, if you would prefer, you can contact Robbie Eddins at 706-542-7568 to set up on-campus interviews.

Where possible, registration for on-campus interviews should be submitted at least three weeks prior to the on-campus interview date in order to allow time for collection of applications and employer pre-screening.  However, if for some reason you need to interview on shorter notice, please contact us, and we will endeavor to accommodate you on a shorter timeline.

Resume Collection & Job Postings

For employers who have employment opportunities but do not wish to conduct on-campus interviews, the Career Development Office provides a resume collection option. CDO advertises your available position by posting it on our internal jobs board on Symplicity, collects applications materials and then forwards the application packet to you for consideration.  Resume Collect allows employers to interview at their convenience.  Employers may request resumes through Symplicity under Job Postings or by completing this online form. Also, you may simply call us at (706) 542-7541 for assistance.
