The Law Library will:

• help library users locate information
• provide assistance in legal research methodology
• offer class presentations, research training sessions, and individual bibliographic instruction
• select and maintain a relevant and timely reference collection
• assist patrons in accessing databases within the limits of license agreements

The Law Library will not:

• solicit a detailed description of the user’s factual situation
• speculate as to the outcome of an issue
• tell a patron what procedural steps to follow
• appear before adjudicative bodies on behalf of patrons
• complete legal forms for patrons
• interpret legal materials
