The Piedmont Gardeners are hosting their annual garden tour. Six gardens, including that of Vince Dooley, will be open. More information on their website.

Friday-Sunday, April 17-19, 8pm & 2:00pm – Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure
The Town and Gown Players present Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure at 8:00 pm, Apr. 17 & 18 and 2:00 pm on Apr. 19. Tickets are $18.00. The theatre is about a mile from the Hilton Garden Inn

Saturday, April 18, 9am - 4pm - Pottery Sale
R.Wood, local artist and potter, is having one of her periodic sales. Her pottery is fun, colorful, and durable. About a mile and a quarter from the Hilton Garden Inn.

Friday-Sunday, April 17-19, 8pm & 6pm – Canopy Repertory Company
The Canopy Repertory Company is presenting their spring performance entitled "Dreams" on April 17th – 19th, Friday & Saturday 8:00 pm & Sunday at 6:00 pm. The company presents an exciting combination of artistry and athleticism, all while flying above the stage. The venue is at 160 Tracy St. which is about a mile and a half from the Classic Center. Friday, April 17, 8pm – Violin, Guitar, and Gypsy Music
Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg & Sergio and Odair Assad
Violin plus guitars equals the exotic accent of Gypsy music. Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg is as well known for her superb musicality as for her flamboyance and risk taking. The Assad Brothers are today's foremost guitar duo. Their Gypsy-inspired music embraces classical and traditional songs from Argentina, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Spain, and the Middle East. Feel the heat and enjoy this spirited and colorful program. Tickets are $25 or $30.
Hodgson Concert Hall, UGA Performing Arts Center

The Annual Meeting Planning Committee has reserved a block of tickets for this exciting show. Please contact Deb Baker, to reserve a ticket for yourself. The world-class Hodgson Concert Hall would not be considered within walking distance of the hotel. There is free parking next to the venue. City and campus buses are available.

Thursday-Sunday, April 16-19, 8pm & 2:30pm – Dangerous Liaisons
The UGA Drama Department is presenting Dangerous Liaisons (Les Liaisons Dangereuses) at 8:00 pm, Apr. 16-18 and 2:30 pm on Apr. 18-19. Made famous by the film starring Glenn Close, John Malkovich, and Michelle Pfeiffer, this play, set in 18th century France, examines the mask of artifice covering the battle between the sexes. The Cellar Theatre is within walking distance of the conference hotel.

Thursday & Friday, April 17 & 18, 7pm - 9pm – UGA Wesley Foundation
The UGA Wesley Foundation presents Restoration, a worship service through the art of dance. Contact Bill Bush, (229) 630-2336, for more information. Admission is free.
At the historic Morton Theatre which is within walking distance of the conference hotel.

The Diamond Dawgs (who are noted for reaching the college World Series in 2008,  2006 & 2004) will be hosting Arkansas at UGA's Foley Field:

Athens Regional Foundation Classic
The 4th annual golf tournament will be held Apr. 13-19.  The event is part of the nationwide tour and will be held at the Jennings Mill Country Club. The course was designed by Robert E. Cupp, ASGCA, with a rating of 74. Athens Regional Foundation Classic website
