Patrons who want to use unpublished material from the special collections of the University of Georgia Law Library:
- must make arrangements in advance with the Special Collections Librarian
- The deeds of gift for some collections require permission of the donor before the collection may be made available.
- may not remove material from the Law Library
- must accept responsibility for all costs of copying, including labor costs if the patron is not a University of Georgia employee
- must reimburse the Law Library for any loss or damage to the materials that results from use
- must provide full citation of the source and acknowledgment of the University of Georgia Alexander Campbell King Law Library if the research results in publication
- must adhere to the terms of copyright law and
- obtain all necessary copyright permissions
- assume responsibility for any infringement of copyright that results from use of the materials
The University of Georgia assumes no liability for infringement of copyright that may occur as a result of the use of its special collections.
