2006-2007 Officers


President - Kellee Padgett

  1. Coordinates the mentoring program and welcome back party over the summer;
  2. Acts as liaison between WLSA and GAWL;
  3. Oversees all WLSA activities;
  4. Represents WLSA at law school functions;
  5. Ensures that WLSA meets its philanthropic goals and obligations; and
  6. Assists other officers in the overall planning of functions.


First Vice President - Tiffany Cartwright

This position is not elected, the 2nd VP simply progresses to the 1st VP.

  1. Plan and carry out Edith House lecture.


Second Vice President - Donyale Leslie

This position is a 2-year commitment because 2nd VP becomes 1st VP.

  1. Helps 1st VP planning Edith House lecture;
  2. Helps the President in the planning of events;
  3. Assists other officers in the overall planning of functions.


Secretary - Michelle Billars

  1. Take minutes & attendance at meetings;
  2. Send out thank you notes and invitations as needed;
  3. Check the WLSA mailbox on a regular basis; and
  4. Assist other officers in the overall planning of functions.


Treasurer - Brittany Grimes

  1. Keep track of WLSA’s bank account;
  2. Make all deposits of dues and other payments;
  3. Distribute checks as necessary;
  4. Balance the check book against bank statements; and
  5. Assist other officers in the overall planning of functions.


Publicity Chair - Lindsay Winzeler

  1. Maintains the WLSA website;
  2. Collects outlines for the outline bank;
  3. Coordinates publicity for events, including making and posting of fliers and stuffing mailboxes;
  4. Maintains the WLSA bulletin board in the mailroom;
  5. Maintains WLSA member listservs; and
  6. Assists other officers in the overall planning of functions.
