The organizers of Race +IP and MOSAIC: Diverse Voices in IP Scholarship are excited to announce that the Third Annual MOSAIC Conference will take place in collaboration with Race + IP at Boston College from April 20-22, 2017. RATIONALE AND PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE: Economic development in Africa has been one of the most important issues on the global agenda. A number of development and law reform projects have been undertaken, but many African countries are yet to achieve successful economic development. The conference examines the development paths that have been taken in Africa over the years, discusses the challenges and explores new approaches to law and development that may yield better development results for Africa.
