Date:

Location:
Larry Walker Room, Dean Rusk Hall
The Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation Clinic presents Daniel J. Dye, the senior deputy attorney general in the Criminal Prosecutions Section of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, who will speak on child sexual abuse and the Catholic Church. Dye led the groundbreaking five-year investigation into child sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic Church in Pennsylvania. He has continued to prosecute an active caseload of sex crimes, child abuse, homicide and cases of public interest. Prior to the Attorney General’s Office, he served as an assistant district attorney in the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence crimes as a member of the Special Victims Unit. In addition, Dye is the director of the Attorney General’s Medical and Legal Advisory Board on Child Abuse, which provides advisory expert analysis to local investigators in difficult to solve child abuse or child homicide investigations.
