Interested in spending a semester-in-practice in or near Savannah during the 2020-2021 school year? Stop by the Coastal Semester-in-Practice table during lunch hour in the Morris, Manning, & Martin Cafe to learn more about a pilot program to place students in full-time externships in coastal Georgia.

Interested students will work with the Civil Externship Program Director to develop an externship placement in Savannah-Chatham County or a surrounding county suited to the student's professional goals. Placements would be in judicial, government, or non-profit offices that deal in whole or in part with legal issues relevant to coastal Georgia, including environmental laws, land use, the interplay with state and federal governments, and laws related to military bases.

No appointment is needed. Please stop by to learn more.
