Thank you for your willingness to nominate one of your professors for the UGA Law Excellence in Undergraduate Education Teaching Award.

This award seeks to recognize a UGA Law faculty member who has made a significant impact on your ability to understand how the law works, how the law matters, and how you can use the law to build a career that makes a difference.  Specifically, we hope you will help us identify a teacher who has inspired you to think analytically and critically about the potential of the law.

In your response, please identify the teacher you want to nominate, the class and term you had that teacher, and describe how this professor inspired you and your fellow students to think analytically and critically about the law.

To be eligible for the award, the nominee must be a teacher employed at the UGA School of Law who has taught in the Law School's undergraduate program in the current academic year.  In other words, only teachers in JURI courses in fall of 2025 or spring of 2026 are eligible.

Please submit your nominations through the website by the 31st of March.  The winner will be announced soon after the close of nominations.

Your participation in this process is invaluable, as it helps us recognize the outstanding educators who have volunteered to support your learning
