Biographical Information

John F. Allgood, who has served as of counsel of Ford & Harrison since 2001, has more than 30 years of experience in transactional law specializing in commercial/business practices of Fortune 100 corporations including real estate, corporate acquisitions, real and personal property financings, antitrust, construction and employment issues. His expertise in alternative dispute resolution has been built over three decades by serving as sole arbitrator and on panels of arbitrators concerning matters such as commercial, securities, financial, construction, land use, consumer, antitrust, employment and labor disputes. In 2020, he was named to the Best Lawyers in the United States lists for arbitration and mediation. Additionally, he was president of the Georgia Arbitrators Forum in 2018.
