Georgia Law to host public interest weekend focusing on social injustice Wednesday, February 11, 2009 Juvenile sentencing, eyewitness testimony and economic disparity are just a few of the topics that will be covered during the 4th Annual Working in the Public Interest Law Conference: Advancing Social Justice to be held Feb. 27-28 at the University of Georgia School of Law. The two-day event will include numerous panels and roundtable discussions with notable speakers from across the country as well as a keynote address by Mary Bauer, Director of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Immigrant Justice Project, which focuses on the legal needs of migrant workers. |
