UGA School of Law hosts "Robes in the Schools" program

Georgia Law is pleased to announce its participation in the "Robes in the Schools" program, which brings together a panel of judges to share their experiences, give advice and answer questions from students interested in the legal profession. The program will be held in Hirsch Hall, classroom B, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Sept. 30.


UGA School of Law hosts U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims

Come watch on Tuesday, Sept. 21, as three judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims hear a case in the law school's Hatton Lovejoy Courtroom. This court has exclusive jurisdiction to provide veterans an impartial judicial review of final decisions by the Board of Veterans' Appeals. It rules on matters involving administrative decisions on service-connected disabilities, survivor benefits, education payments, waivers of indebtedness and other benefits.
