School of Law to host conference on civil and human rights Wednesday, August 10, 2011 The School of Law's Georgia Law Review will host a conference exploring civil and human rights issues of today and tomorrow on Aug. 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Larry Walker Room of Dean Rusk Hall. The event is free and open to the public, and attendees may come and go throughout the day, as needed. CLE credits are available. |

UGA School of Law appoints Rollins associate dean; welcomes new LCS director Tuesday, August 9, 2011 Georgia Law recently announced the promotion of Paul B. Rollins to associate dean for administration. Additionally, the school has hired senior attorney David P. O'Brien from Alexandria, Va., to serve as its Legal Career Services director. O'Brien comes to UGA with nearly 20 years of extensive practice experience in a variety of legal fields in addition to having served as an adjunct professor at American University Washington College of Law. |
