Exams on Computer

Students whose professors offer the option may take in-class exams on their laptop computer. Beginning in the fall of 2017, we will be using ExamSoft's Examplify software.  Further instructions will be emailed to students well before final exams.

Examplify can be used on most modern  computers (i.e. purchased within the last 3-4 years). Please see specific system requirements as noted below.  Examplify cannot be used on virtual operating systems such as Microsoft's Virtual Machine, Parallels, VMware, VMware Fusion or any other virtual environments.

Use of Computers on the Bar Exam
Several states, including Florida,  now prohibit the use of the new Macbook Pro with the Touch Bar function on their  Bar Exams due to its predictive typing feature and other embedded features.  The Georgia Bar has not yet made this prohibition.  Please check with the state bar to which you seek admission to determine which computers will be allowed for the state-specific portion of the exam.
