Biographical Information: 

Brian Magee is a managing partner with Hafemann, Magee & Thomas, where he represents individuals in a variety of federal and military law matters including federal criminal defense, government investigations, whistleblower/qui tam and military justice. Previously he served as reserve regional defense counsel and branch head of the Department of the Navy Appellate Defense Division for the U.S. Marine Corps. He also served as a deputy director for the Marine Corps Trial Counsel Assistance Program in addition to working as a military justice officer and special assistant U.S. attorney, chief civil law officer.

Magee earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Georgia, and his LL.M from Mercer University. He is an honor graduate of the Naval Justice School. After law school, he clerked for Judge John Lee Parrott of Georgia’s Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit.
