Edward H. Brumby Jr. serves as a staff attorney with the Superior Court in Georgia’s Western Judicial Circuit. He worked with Judge Lawton E. Stephens for two years and Judge Regina Quick from October 2017 to December 2018.
Previously he was the chief assistant public defender for the Western Judicial Circuit for approximately 12 years. His other experience includes operating his own private practice, serving as an assistant district attorney in the Western Judicial Circuit for three years, clerking for the Western Circuit Superior Court and working as a special intern in the Office of Legal Counsel for Georgia Gov. Roy Barnes.
Brumby earned his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Oglethorpe University and his law degree cum laude from UGA.
