Emily Stanley

Emily Stanley, who joined the University of Georgia School of Law in 2021, currently serves as director of stewardship and donor relations. In this role, she cultivates relationships with graduates and friends as well as seeks private support, both of which ensure a strong future for the law school. Specifically, she oversees the school's gift acknowledgment program, seeks opportunities to grow donor relationships and works with the school's donor recognition societies such as the Leadership Circle and the Verner F. Chaffin Society.

Stanley came to the law school from the UGA Office of Alumni Relations, where she worked with its 40-member Board of Directors. She helped implement a comprehensive engagement plan as well as organized meetings and communications. Additionally, she supported student engagement events and activities.

Her other professional experience includes serving as a certified health coach and founding Athens Wellness, LLC. She also worked as the social media coordinator and operations assistant for Athens Infusion & Pharmacy.

Stanley earned her Bachelor of Arts from Georgia Southern University in 2012.
