Brandon James, counsel for the San Antonion Spurs, will visit campus and host a roundtable career discussion with interested students.
Currently in his eighth season in the Spurs front office, James serves dual roles for the storied franchise. As VP of Basketball Administration, James oversees the groups responsible for strategy and innovation, legal affairs and CBA, salary cap and other administrative matters. He also serves as the team attorney in his role as Deputy General Counsel. In addition, James advises Spurs Sports & Entertainment franchises SAFC (USL) and the Austin Spurs (NBA G League).
Before joining the Silver and Black he spent four years with IMG Sports, Entertainment and Media serving several positions in talent marketing and ultimately the coaches division representing professional and collegiate coaches. James earned his JD and MBA simultaneously from the University of Georgia.
