Russell C. Gabriel and other UGA faculty receive support for research on poverty

For the fifth consecutive year, University of Georgia faculty have been awarded grants to support creative scholarship on issues related to poverty. Georgia Law Criminal Defense Clinic Director Russell C. Gabriel was among this year's recipients. He will be exploring the impacts of financial burden on poor and indigent defendants.

Solomon delivered a talk titled "New Governance: Blurring Boundaries in Regulatory Theory and Practice" at the Transatlantic Conference on New Governance and the Transformation of Law held at the University of Wisconsin in November. He also served on the steering committee that organized the conference.
