Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Emeritus Walter Hellerstein published “The Role of Platforms in the Collection of Consumption Taxes in the Digital Economy: Lessons from the US State Experience” in VAT in the Digital ERA: Unilateral and Multilateral Options for Reform (Oxford University Press, 2023).
Callaway Chair Elizabeth Chamblee Burch was featured on Bloomberg Law regarding class action lawsuits related to caffeinated energy drinks. The article titled "Panera Charged Lemonade Lawsuits Recall Monster Energy Cases" was written by Chris Dolmetsch and published 12/19/23. The article was reprinted by other media outlets, including The Baltimore Sun.
University Professor & Kilpatrick Chair of Corporate Finance and Securities Law Usha Rodrigues presented “ESG and Gatekeepers” at The Future of ESG symposium hosted by the Institute for Law and Economic Policy and the Penn Carey Law Journal of Business Law during November.
