The Law Library provides exceptional resources and expertise to support scholarship, instruction and learning for the Law School community.

Guiding Principles

In support of our mission, the Alexander Campbell King Law Library staff pledge:

• We will be an essential element in advancing the strategic plan of the School of Law;
• We will provide excellent library service to all library users, regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, political views, race, religion, or sexual orientation;
• We will develop, organize, preserve, and make available the most comprehensive collection of materials about law and legal systems that can be assembled using the resources available to the Law Library;
• We will uphold the principle that legal information must be available to anyone who desires it;
• We will teach library users how to use the information resources available to them regardless of the format of those resources;
• We will use new information technologies for the betterment of the School of Law;
• We will strive to be a contributing partner to faculty members in their instruction and research;
