Biographical Information: 

Walter W. Davis is currently the lead defense of The Southern Company in Atlanta where he oversees officers and directors in securities fraud class action cases and related derivative lawsuits pending in federal court in Atlanta. He also serves as co-chair of the Securities and Corporate Litigation Subcommittee of the Atlanta Bar Association and is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Judicial Selection and Tenure Committee. He previously worked with Make-A-Wish Georgia and was an alumni board member of Mercer University’s College of Liberal Arts.

Davis earned his bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University. He has recently been named one of Georgia’s Super Lawyers in securities litigation.
