Women's Leadership in Academia events are for women professors, librarians and clinicians interested in pursuing leadership opportunities in legal education. To date, representatives from more than 65 law schools have attended past events.

- The next reception will be held during the AALS Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 3 (starting at 6:30 p.m. in room Maryland B at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.
As the Women's Leadership in Academia initiative moves forward, future conferences will rotate among partner schools each year. In addition, the AALS Annual Meeting will serve as a way to bring together those interested in women's leadership advancement and related issues in addition to providing leadership programming, giving women legal educators a chance to network and gathering feedback on the continuing initiative. Each year, please look for UGA's Women's Leadership in Academia events at the AALS Annual Meeting.
