Summer public interest fellowships provide important hands-on learning opportunities for law students. At the University of Georgia School of Law, financial support for these experiences has been on an upward trajectory since 2017.
The Community Health Law Partnership Clinic successfully settled Oviedo de la Cruz et. al. v. Mayorkas et.
The School of Law was recently ranked among the best law schools in the nation for its classroom experience (9th) and for the number of its students securing federal clerkships (8th).
The Appellate Litigation Clinic recently obtained a remand in the case Naranjo Garcia v. Barr. The clinic team has worked on this case since 2019 and, after winning in the U.S.
Congratulations to third-year students Haley K. Kairab, Taylor N. Lear and Navroz N. Tharani for winning Region 13 of the National Moot Court Competition. Kairab was also named best oralist of the final round. The team will compete for the national title in January.
