Join us for a discussion on civil law systems and a Russian perspective on the same. This event features LL.M. student Evgeniia Romanycheva.

Romanycheva has completed an LL.B. with first class honors from Lomonosov Moscow State University and a Master’s degree in International Law from Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Since 2016, she has been a teacher with the Moscow Department of Education, creating and teaching courses on law to students with disabilities. Her university team reached the international rounds of the 25th annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and her team won the national rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court competition and was among the top 32 teams in the international rounds in Washington, DC. She also placed 10th in Russia in a national legal competition.  Her goal is to take the NY bar exam and pursue a Ph.D. in comparative law.
