The University of Georgia School of Law welcomes gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Private donations lift the School of Law to heights it could not attain solely through public funding. All gifts in support of the School of Law are made payable to the UGA Foundation.
UGA Foundation currently accepts gifts online via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) and mobile wallet (Visa Checkout and Apple Pay). The mobile wallet options are available to users visiting from mobile devices. We anticipate being able to offer Venmo as a mobile wallet option very soon.
In addition to those online options, we accept contributions via cash, check, ACH, wire transfer, DTC transfer of marketable securities, and UGA payroll deduction. Those gifts are facilitated by phone, mail, or email.
Other, less common forms of giving are carefully reviewed prior to acceptance and follow specific gift acceptance procedures (ie, real property, gifts in-kind and non-marketable securities).
