AI Law and Policy Seminar

This discussion-based seminar examines discrete legal issues created or intensified by artificial intelligence (AI) (e.g., liability for AI-related harms; privacy; IP; antitrust; algorithmic discrimination and civil rights). Each session pairs a primary legal source with recent scholarship offering competing approaches to each legal issue. Students will develop a substantial research paper through proposal, drafting, faculty feedback, and revision, satisfying the Law School’s Capstone Writing Requirement.
