UGA celebrates Honors Week; three law professors recognized Tuesday, April 3, 2012 Honors Week allows individuals at UGA to be acknowledged for achieving excellence. At Georgia Law, Cleveland Distinguished Chair of Legal Ethics and Professionalism Lonnie T. Brown Jr., Associate Professor Erica J. Hashimoto and Assistant Professor Christian Turner were recognized with the law school's three faculty awards that are given annually by its student body. |

Diane Marie Amann participates in conference on atrocity crimes Friday, March 30, 2012 Woodruff Chair in International Law Diane Marie Amann served as a panelist at "The Atrocity Crimes Litigation Year in Review Conference," a daylong discussion held at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon during March. Panelists at the event reviewed recent decisions and developments in international criminal law, including the first verdict of the International Criminal Court. |

Fazal Khan participates in ACS online symposium Friday, March 30, 2012 Associate Professor Fazal Khan recently participated in an online blogging symposium with the American Constitution Society covering the oral arguments in the U.S. Supreme Court case HHS v. Florida. As part of the symposium, he provided commentary on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act titled "The Roberts Court Dangerously Close to Eroding Institution's Credibility." |
