Alan Cook and other UGA experts offer commentary for reporting sexual abuse of minors Thursday, November 17, 2011 Prosecutorial Clinic Director Alan A. Cook and other UGA experts are available to provide commentary on sexual abuse involving children and the responsibilities for reporting such cases to the proper authorities. The recent scandal at Pennsylvania State University involving inadequately reported alleged cases of sexual abuse of minors on campus has started a national debate on what a person's ethical, moral and legal requirements are to report incidences of abuse to the proper authorities. |

Logan Sawyer named to new Teaching Academy Fellows program Tuesday, November 15, 2011 Assistant Professor Logan E. Sawyer III has been named a member of the 2011-2012 UGA Teaching Academy Fellows program. This new program links early-career faculty members across campus with members of the Teaching Academy who serve as mentors. Sawyer was one of only 19 early-career faculty members campus wide selected to participate in this year's program. |
