Course Description

Introduces students to a contemporary challenge in the field of international law and prompts them to design and present a solution as part of a group. Students will learn about the historical context, institutional, legal, and theoretical frameworks, as well as the relevant law and policy frameworks, of the selected hackathon challenge through readings, lectures, recorded interviews, and more. Small groups will present their “hacks” or proposed solutions to a panel of judges at the end of the semester.
