Voting for 1L officers in the MyGeorgiaLaw Portal. Voting opens at 9am on September 16 and closes at 4pm on September 17. 

The interest meeting will cover available SBA positions and campaign rules for those running for 1L officers.

EITS will conduct network maintenance that will result in complete outages of campus Internet access and campus information systems on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 6:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. 

Please make note that unlike previous planned network maintenances where there were intermittent outages, this maintenance will result in a complete outage of access to services.

Join the Health Law Society and CDO to hear from in-house attorneys that work in the healthcare system, medical malpractice defense attorneys, and plaintiff's attorneys to discuss the wide spectrum health law encompasses. Topics will include what health law attorneys do, what interested them in pursuing health law, how to become a health law attorney, and the effect of COVID-19 in their legal practice. 

Join the UGA Georgia Trial Association (student chapter) and Career Development to learn more about the work and career of Mike Rafi as a Personal Injury Attorney. Rafi is a 2011 UGA Law Grad and he will present on his career path, Personal Injury work, and marketing, as well as the generally the work of a trial attorney.

Announcing LawDawgDash, to replace Symplicity

We are excited to announce a new career management software, LawDawgDash. LawDawgDash will replace CDO Symplicity at the end of June.

The Career Development Office team is preparing to migrate job listings, student accounts, events, and on-campus interview information to LawDawgDash, with a plan to go live on July 1, 2020.

All access to CDO Symplicity will end after June 30, 2020.

Even during normal times (which these are not), 2Ls have many questions about how to strategize beyond on-campus interviews. CDO is hosting an information session to address current hiring timelines and expectations, and to help 2Ls navigate the path to summer employment.
