We are honored to welcome Ms. Natalie Phan as our first guest speaker of the semester. Ms. Phan is not only the founding attorney of Natalie Phan Law, but also a fellow Law Dawg. Her firm specializes in immigration law, family law, and wills/estates. Ms. Phan will share her story of how she came to start up and run her own firm. This will be a good listen for those who are interested in starting their own firms at some point in time.

Intellectual Property Interview Programs Student Panel

The IPLS is hosting a student panel for any students interested in attending the Loyola Patent Interview Program or the Southeastern Intellectual Property Job Fair. Anyone interested in these programs should come hear students who have participated in previous years talk about their experience and give advice about what worked for them.

Student registration deadlines are early (Loyola Patent Law Interview Program is March 6).

Passport to Practice

A collaboration between several organizations, this unique program is designed to round out skillsets needed to navigate and succeed in the ever-changing legal landscape. Going beyond a speaker series, Passport to Practice will require modest pre-reads, session attendance, and brief learning comprehension checks. Participants completing the requirements will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
