Spring semester is flying by, and the first day of your summer placement will be here before you know it. On April 15th at noon, join Law Librarians Heather Simmons, Savanna Nolan, and a special guest from an Atlanta law firm library to learn tips to be the most successful summer intern you can be. Topics will include:

  • Why you should seek out the librarian at your office right away (and what to do if you don't have one)

  • Why you should take notes with pen and paper and not on your smart phone

The Road to US Employment: F-1 Visa Work Options and Onwards

Anita Ninan is a Georgia Law LL.M. alumna and member of the Dean Rusk International Law Center Council. The event will feature information on LL.M.

employment including: OPT eligibility and requirements; the H-1B work visa; and recent U.S. immigration developments.

This presentation is open to LL.M. students as well as J.D. students on an international student visa.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 29th anytime from 3-3:30pm for the next Pet Therapy Zoom! The stars of the show will be all of our pets (aspiring therapy dogs, cats, other - all are welcome!), but humans without pets should join as well! We are all going to miss those adorable pups in the Law Library Foyer this exam period, but we hope Zooming with our pets can be the next best thing. Feel free to pop in just for a minute, or stay for the entire half hour - up to you!
