The Federalist Society will be hosting The Honorable Stephen Dillard of the Court of Appeals of Georgia on September 9th at 12:00pm-12:50pm. All students and faculty are welcome to attend the Zoom meeting and learn about Judge Dillard's perspective on the role of a judge, in addition to his own experience as a valued member of the judiciary.

Finally, ACS is proud to team up with the Davenport-Benham Black Law Students Association to co-host a discussion of the right to vote in Georgia and voter suppression tactics such as racial gerrymandering, voter ID, polling place closures, etc. Panelists will discuss solutions for working together to ensure access to the ballot this November and beyond. Ilze Brands Kehris, the Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Christof Heyns, the Human Rights Committee Rapporteur who drafted General Comment No. 37 Yuval Shany, former Chair of the Human Rights Committee, and H?l?ne Tigroudja, member of the Human Rights Committee.
