Dallas and Gobeil Families Endowment:

The purpose of the Fund is to provide fellowship and/or scholarship support for a student(s) in good standing at the School of Law. The primary purpose of the Fund is to support public interest fellowships for such students who intern, clerk, or otherwise perform unpaid legal work at the following Statewide Courts:

  • 1st Priority: Georgia Court of Appeals
  • 2nd Priority: Georgia Statewide Business Court
  • 3rd Priority: Supreme Court of Georgia

All other factors being equal, additional preference will be given to students who demonstrate achievement in the face of challenging circumstances (e.g., first-generation college graduate, military service, poverty, disability, self-financing education through employment, and/or those with a spouse, dependent(s), and/or care-giving or financial support responsibilities to a family member(s) during law school), as well as students who have who have lived, worked, or studied in following areas:

  • 1st Priority: Upson, Jefferson, and Chatham Counties and the Georgia congressional districts for each of these counties;
  • 2nd Priority: Rural or legally underserved parts of Georgia that do not include metro Atlanta.
