Dove Family Student Leadership Scholar Fund

Dove Family Student Leadership Scholar Fund:

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student(s) in the School of Law who has demonstrated interest or previous work experience in executive branch government service, including, but not limited to: 

• Federal Executive Offices: The President (White House), The President’s Cabinet (Federal Agencies), Independent Federal Agencies and Commissions, and others; Docusign Envelope ID: B765B9CB-113B-4692-AF63-E0F94E06354B
• State Executive Offices: The Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State School Superintendent, Commissioners of Agriculture, Insurance, and Labor, and others;
• Armed Forces: The Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, The Army National Guard, The Air National Guard, and others. 

Preference may be given to those who exhibit one or more of the following characteristics: 

• Undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia;
• First-generation law student;
• Demonstrated commitment to service based on undergraduate student activities and organizations; 

The scholarship shall be renewable each year until the recipient(s) graduates, provided the recipient(s) remains in good academic standing and is making satisfactory progress toward completion of a degree. The recipient(s) shall be known as the “Dove Family Student Leadership Scholar(s)” and selected by a committee appointed by the Dean of the School.
