Congratulations to second-year students Olivia M. Henderson, Naryan C. “Ryan” Parimi and Carolina Ruiz for finishing as semifinalists at the William B. Spong, Jr. Moot Court Tournament. A second team of second-year students Eric S. Gulbranson and Daniel J. Lanclos placed as quarterfinalists. Student coaches for the teams were third-year students Katelyn Wood Hulsey and Julia A. Gillies, respectively. Recent graduate Natalya D. Moody (J.D.’25) served as the alumni coach.
The Spong Moot Court Tournament is a national invitational contest hosted annually by the William and Mary Law School that “brings together top-ranked schools and judges from across the nation to debate current constitutional issues.” This year’s tournament featured 42 teams.
