2011 Schedule

CALR is a generic term meaning Computer Assisted Legal Research. Two of the most comprehensive systems are LEXIS and WESTLAW.

As part of your Research & Writing class you are required to attend two training sessions for each system. The first session covers case materials, the second session covers statutory materials. The training takes place in January and February.

As part of your training there is an assessment of your skills in using the systems. If you successfully complete the assessment you will earn a certification for that system. The instructors will give you the information about the assessment and certification.

The room assignments may change. We will send a general email message to the first year class with any changes.

Make sure your passwords for both systems are active and working.
