Anjanette Russell is the assistant director of donor relations and stewardship at the University of Georgia School of Law. In this role, Russell helps law school donors to see the impact of their investment and inspires them to continue and grow their support for the University of Georgia School of Law, ensuring a strong future for the law school. 

A UGA employee since 2006, Russell comes to the School of Law from University Human Resources where she was a senior executive recruiting consultant for four years. She successfully recruited approximately 20 professional senior level positions. She also worked as a human resources managing consultant for 15 months, shepherding candidates through the recruiting and hiring processes. 

Her other UGA positions included teaching human development and family science as an adjunct professor as part of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences and leading the young toddler and Head Start programs at the Child Development Lab at the McPhaul Center. 

She serves her community as a development officer for the Eastside Eagle Foundation, where she solicits donations from local businesses and private individuals to support families in need at five Jackson County schools. 

Russell earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences and her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Georgia.
