Specialty retailer serving consumers through the sale and lease of furniture, consumer electronics, computers, home appliances, and accessories in the US and Canada
Student will be involved in reviewing and summarizing vendor and marketing contracts, reviewing real estate leases, and general corporate practice. Student will also be involved in researching and reviewing relevant legislation and legislative activity in relevant legal areas, as well as creating regulatory compliance policies and programs for the corporate and franchise system. Student will have the opportunity to be involved in litigation management (class action, general liability, and employment practices) from an in-house perspective, including interaction with outside counsel
