Type of work:
Forward’s Legal Department supports our business units with all legal issues and questions, including contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”), litigation/enterprise risk management, real estate, and corporate compliance. Externs will have projects in contract review/drafting/negotiation, M&A due diligence, litigation as well as a myriad of other legal issues as they arise. Our Legal Department is located in Atlanta, near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and we support our operations across the US.
Note: Externship can be hybrid, but at least half-time “in-person work” will be required. Externs will be asked to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

Preferred days: Flexible, but at least eight (8) hours per week are required for part-time externs - we recommend twelve (12) to sixteen (16) hours/week, but we understand that law students are busy. In our experience, the more hours an extern works with us, the more mutually beneficial the experience is. We also welcome fulltime externs, if you’re interested.
